I often recommend that clients keep a journal of our work together, whether it's food related, exercise, mood, or what have you. Tracking habits and goals is an incredibly important self-motivation tool. Recently, I was searching the internet for a such a journal and found myself fussing over my choices in classic Goldilocks style – this one's too big, this one's too glossy to scribble on, this one doesn't have all of the elements I'd like to have.
